From the farm to your table

Every step, accounted for.

We follow each product from the people who grow it to the moment it reaches you, and we tell you exactly where it has been.

  1. I

    The farm

Smallholder families in Cutervo and San José de Lourdes grow Typica, Caturra and Bourbon at 1,750–1,800 m.

  2. II

    Picked by hand

Only ripe red cherries are picked, pass after pass through the harvest.

  3. III

    Washed and sun-dried

The cherries are pulped, fermented, washed and dried slowly in the sun.

  4. IV

    Cupped and scored

Every lot is tasted by a quality specialist. Ours scored 86 on the SCA scale.

  5. V

    Roasted

Est. 1912

F.lli Ghibellini

A family name, kept since 1912.

Fratelli Ghibellini — the Ghibellini brothers — was established in 1912. The lion, the flag and the three stars on every jar, bag and bottle come from the family crest. Today the name stands behind a small pantry of Peruvian fine goods, chosen with the same care.

The lion
Strength and care, from the Ghibellini crest.
The flag
Carried forward, from one generation to the next.
Three stars
From the family shield.
